Public Hearing

The Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on the proposed budget for fiscal year 2022 – 2023 this morning. Click here for meeting information that includes the Board’s packets and a slideshow presented during the meeting. 

No public comments were made on the proposed budget. The Board did direct staff to add funds for a camera system for the Police Department’s interrogation room to the proposed ordinance for consideration at the June 21st meeting. The Board also asked staff to obtain a quote to add audio/visual streaming capabilities to broadcast meetings.

Concert – The Embers

Don’t miss the Embers this Sunday, June 12th at the HB Pavilion. This free family friendly event will start at 6:30 p.m.

Tide Dye Tuesdays

Tide Dye will be held on Tuesdays between 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. beginning June 14th and continuing through August 9th. The program will not be held the week of July 19th. 

Cost is $7 for youth sizes through adult XL. Adult XXL is $10 per shirt.

Participants must be in line by 2:00 p.m. each week to participate as the process takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Food Trucks

When Pigs Fly BBQ Burgers & Wings Food Truck will be at the HB Pier this Saturday. Come out for a tasty meal!
