Winter Storm Advisory
Winter storm Leon is expected to impact the Holden Beach area for at least the next two days. Town Hall will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Town Emergency Services Personnel will be on duty.
Travel and transportation is expected to be extremely hazardous. Please avoid travel unless it is absolutely critical. The Department of Transportation is expected to keep the bridge open.
You should complete all of your preparations tonight and expect to limit your travel for the next two days.
UPDATE: It looks like NOAA has already expired the weather alert, so we’ll just have to wait and see how it turns out.
