Independence Day Weekend Events

If you’re lucky enough to be spending Independence Day weekend here at Holden Beach, you won’t be disappointed.  The town community and local businesses are pulling out all the stops to make this a weekend to remember.

Friday

5pm-7pm: VFW of Holden Beach Fish Fry-  Everyone’s invited. Plates are $7. Holden Beach VFW on Google Maps

8:30pm-12:00am: Live Music at Castaways Raw Bar & Grill- Join JB & Friends as they fill the air with toe-tapping tunes.  Castaways on Google Maps

Saturday

7:30-9:30am: Tethered Rides aboard the RE/MAX Balloon sponsored by RE/MAX at the Beach, an Alan Holden Company.  More information

10am-2pm: FREE Snowcones at Beach Mart- The Store with More is giving away free snowcones to celebrate Independence Day.  Stop in and enjoy.  Beach Mart on Google Maps

6:30pm-7:30pm:  Ohana Hawaiian Dance at the Holden Beach Pavilion- Come and enjoy the colorful and musical performance of a classic Hawaiian Dance just under the bridge.

Sunday

10am-2pm: FREE Snowcones at Beach Mart- The Store with More is giving away free snowcones to celebrate Independence Day.  Stop in and enjoy.  Beach Mart on Google Maps

6:30pm-8:00pm:  Concerts on the Coast with The Wilmington Big Band- Bring a blanket, chair, or even your dancing shoes and celebrate Independence Day with the Town of Holden Beach.

Monday

Josh was born with sand between his feet and salt air in his lungs. As a kid, you could have found him riding his bike to old Jeff's Grocery for a few candy treats or merrily working the checkout counter at Beach Mart.
